Job Description
The ServiceNow Developer will bring expertise and provide overall guidance on best practices and standards to serve all of business and technology groups. The position will require the ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed.
- Design, develop, configure and customize ServiceNow applications & services for all implemented applications & services with the scope of automating and integrating workflows;
- Write ServiceNow integrations and automations using Integration Hub and other technologies;
- Deliver new functionalities across applications;
- Support entire development lifecycle;
- Advise on configuration and coding standards;
- Guidance on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment;
- Drive solid instance health by reviewing and guiding the remediation of configurations that do not align to ServiceNow best practices;
- Configure solutions across the platform;
- Drive the adoption of new features and functionalities;
- Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to align with other products and solutions;
- Lead technical conversations and assist in training and mentoring of more junior staff;
- Partener with other leads to influence the broader strategic decisions, roadmaps, and resource requirements;
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions;
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies;
- Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Perform requirements analysis;
- Monitor your deliverables and ensure the timely completion of work.
Requirements:
- 7+ Years of work experience;
- Certified ServiceNow Developer;
- Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM module (Service Request Management);
- Proficient in identifying solutions for ServiceNow integrations and workflow automations;
- ITIL certified;
- Knowledge of Jira or Agile methodology tools;
- Cloud application technology experience;
- Proficient in identifying solutions for the ServiceNow modules;
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
- Ability to work within a complex business environment;
- Highly motivated to work on large and complex solutions;
- Proven experience navigating complex matrixed and global organizations;
- Proven ability to operate in a constant state of change, adapting style, approach and delivery to drive to business outcomes in a pragmatic manner;
- Proven ability to think innovatively in developing and executing change;
- Excellent facilitation skills and proven ability in promoting collaboration within and across teams;
- Proven ability to promote sharing of best practices and leverage learnings across teams.
