The Team

Responsibilities:
Perform requirements management planning for medium- to large-scale mobile development projects
Lead business analysis across multiple parallel workstreams
Coordinate all aspects of Sprint execution and produce Sprint performance reports, including QA testing metrics
Perform metric analysis to appropriately synthesize impact on requirements
Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements as Epics and Stories
Facilitate and drive requirements gathering sessions and individual follow-ups
Collaborate with business and systems experts
Document analysis of business processes, procedures, data and rules
Document team processes, onboarding materials, and related information
Negotiate and influence requirements direction
Help or facilitate team process improvement and/or process mapping sessions
Monitor project metrics and customer feedback to identify and communicate the drivers that may influence requirements
Create business process models, context diagrams and use case models
Apply knowledge of formal requirement elicitation best practices
Adhere to formal software development processes and procedures
Define, and update documentation tools such the data dictionaries
Candidate Skills:
5+ years of experience in Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst role
Proven experience in mobile app development projects
Experience with mobile and wearable device integration is preferred
Direct experience with using a wearable device to track health data
Any proven experience in a Scrum Master role would be a plus
Ability to influence peers, leaders, and business customers
Skilled in problem solving and technical analysis
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective relationship-building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The Impact:
Experienced individual capable of handling medium- to large-scale technology projects and can work independently on multiple project tasks
Works closely with the Product Manager, business and technical stakeholders, and the team to help build a shared understanding of the roadmap, business and functional requirements, and Acceptance Criteria. This includes facilitating backlog refinement sessions to elaborate requirements, assess technical feasibility, and synthesize conflicting requirements.
Proficient in eliciting the business and/or systems objectives based on stakeholder vision, user needs, and understanding of applicable KPIs and metrics. This includes the ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions, and to document use cases, user flows, and data flows.
Coordinates Scrum Agile development execution, including Release Planning, managing Sprint schedule, facilitating Scrum events, and developing the artifacts that drive team productivity and outcome transparency.
Participates in all phases of planning, development, and testing in collaboration with business and system experts.
Collaborates with the Product Manager to document Epics and Stories, attending to the details that promote efficient development and QA testing.
Analyzes business system and functional requirements with a system-design mindset to help elicit additional requirements from stakeholders.
Documents business processes, data and rules, selecting tools and representations that optimize shared understanding.
Documents team processes and onboarding information (Confluence).
Closely monitors various communication channels (email, Slack) to identify and integrate information relevant to specific Epics and Stories.
May participate in direct QA testing of the product to provide insights into product usability and overall quality.
Supports the team with defect root cause analysis and documentation, including capturing resolution steps.
